Cleveland Browns 2012 Fantasy Football Preview

Ranking 30th in the NFL at 13.6 points per game is hard to swallow, but it really shouldn’t come as much a surprise to anyone because the Cleveland Browns had the 28th youngest offense in the league. With high draft picks Trent Richardson and Brandon Weeden, the Browns aren’t getting any older at key positions and that is why it could be another year to take extreme caution with Cleveland in regards to fantasy.

Here are the guys in Cleveland that you should have on your list come time to do the fantasy draft.

Cincinnati Bengals 2012 Fantasy Football Preview

Cincinnati may not be the prettiest of cities these days, but that doesn’t mean the Bengals aren’t anticipating a successful year on the gridiron. The Bengals are a young and upcoming team who can easily surpass the 21.5 points per game (18th in the league) they scored last season and realistically compete with the rest of the AFC North which doesn’t look nearly as lopsided as it has in the past decade.

Here are the guys in Cincinnati that you should have on your list come time to do the fantasy draft.

Baltimore Ravens 2012 Fantasy Football Preview

The off-season hasn’t been kind to the Baltimore Ravens who were a Lee Evans’ drop away from going to the Super Bowl in 2011. Defensive Player of the Year, Terrell Suggs, is likely out until late November with an achilles injury and superstar running back Ray Rice (above) was tagged with a frustrating franchise tag.

Even though the mood in Baltimore seems tepid, don’t count out Head Coach John Hardbaugh whose 44-20 record and .688 winning percentage is tied for the best in the NFL. And we all know, winning seems to go hand-and-hand with happy fantasy owners.

Here are the guys in Baltimore that you should have on your list come time to do the fantasy draft.

New York Jets 2012 Fantasy Football Preview

The New York Jets are a perfect example of how the offseason’s main story lines can have little impact on the fantasy relevance of a team. If you haven’t heard, the Jets acquired Tim Tebow from the Denver Broncos, kicking off a entirely over-dramatic quarterback controversy which most likely doesn’t exist.

In this preview, I’ll assume that Mark Sanchez is the starter with Tebow coming in for special packages which in essence will make both Sanchez and Tebow relatively undraftable in most fantasy leagues.
Here are the guys in New York that you should have on your list come time to do the fantasy draft.

New England Patriots 2012 Fantasy Football Preview

Take notice here because Bill Belichick’s boys are one of fantasy football’s behemoths. The New England Patriots have ranked in the top ten in points per game going all the way back to 2004, a total of eight seasons. And with offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels back in the mix, there’s a great reason to believe they will make it nine straight seasons.

Here are the guys in New England that you should have on your list come time to do the fantasy draft.

Miami Dolphins 2012 Fantasy Football Preview

Fantasy Football and the Miami Dolphins actually don't make a very good mix. In 2011, the team put up only 20.6 points per game (20th in the NFL) and had a tough time finding out who their play-makers were. With a key piece gone (WR Brandon Marshall), new coach (Joe Philbin) and a quarterback controversy (Matt Moore, David Garrard and Ryan Tannehill), the fantasy outlook for this team is really up in the air for 2012.

Here are the guys in Miami that you should have on your list come time to do the fantasy draft.

Buffalo Bills 2012 Fantasy Football Preview

When you start talking fantasy, the Buffalo Bills aren’t necessarily the first team that comes to mind. Don’t let their meager 6-10 record fool you, they’re a team who can put some points on the scoreboard (23.3 per game in 2011 which ranked 14th) and in essence help your fantasy team.

Here are the guys in Buffalo that you should have on your list come time to do the fantasy draft.
