Week Thirteen Fantasy Predictions from Nick and Chad

Nick's Record (42-42 overall) (3-21 in points predictions) = 48 points (5-2 in week twelve)
Chad's Record (50-34 overall) (3-21 in points predictions) = 56 points
(4-3 in week twelve)

1.) Team Grays (Nick Grays) (5-7) vs. Team Klitzman (Kari Klitzman) (5-7)

Nick's Prediction: Team Grays

Chad's Outlook:
This is a storybook ending for the two lovers. Kari has herself in a “win and she’s in” position. She has over a 100 point lead on all the other 5-7 teams and as of now, she is the 9th seed. Grays also has a decent shot at the playoffs. He obviously needs to win. Also, he needs to score at least 3 more points than the Sad-asses score in a win. If Merrill and grays both win, Grays needs to maintain a 12 point lead. I suspect one of the two make the playoffs.
Chad's Prediction: Team Klitzman and makes playoffs

2.) Team Merrill (Seth Merrill) (5-7) vs. Free Victory (Tim Harwood) (5-7)

Nick's Prediction: Team Merrill

Chad's Outlook: As stated last week, Free victory’s chance of making the playoffs is almost 0% now. He would need to overcome at least 161 points in the case Grays pulls off a win. He would need 264 if Klitzman wins. As for Merrill, he needs Grays to win and needs to overcome a 12 point deficit. If Klitzman wins, she will for sure have the edge in points. Another route to the playoffs would be a Wizard killer loss while maintaining his 18 point lead. I think Merrill wins this week, but misses the playoffs because of a Klitzman and Wizard killer win.
Chad's Prediction: Team Merrill

3.) Team Breiby (Chad Breiby) (7-5) vs. Team Lee (Isaac Lee) (7-5)

Nick's Prediction: Team Breiby

Chad's Outlook: Both teams are in the playoffs but both teams need to get their acts together. They both started out hot and slumped in recent weeks. Manning and Brees have combined for 25 interceptions in their last 6 games. Foster continues to surprise as the league’s leading rusher for Team Breiby and Welker is really starting to heat up as the patriots are showing elite abilities again for Team Lee.
Chad's Prediction: Team Breiby

4.) Team McCarthy (Matt McCarthy) (8-4) vs. Bobby's Sad-Asses (Robert Trader/John Rymaszewski) (5-7)
Nick's Prediction: Team McCarthy

Chad's Outlook: Team McCarthy is in the playoffs. The sad-asses are in the same situation at Merrill, but they need to maintain a 2 point lead over grays with a grays win. A wizard killer loss would boost the Sad-asses in the playoffs assuming they maintain a 28 point lead over him. Again, with my Klitzman and wizard killer predictions of a win, the sad-asses miss the playoffs.
Chad's Prediction: Team McCarthy

5.) Team Szombatfalvy (Mike Szombatfalvy) (3-9) vs. Team Lowenberg (Nick Lowenberg) (6-6)

Nick's Prediction: Team Lowenberg

Chad's Outlook: Szom was eliminated last week from the playoffs. The reason a Lowenberg loss was not tied in with the possibilities of Merrill and the Sad-asses making the playoffs is because it is highly unlikely they overtake lowenberg in points. The sad-asses would need to make up for 47 points and Merrill would need to make up 57 points. It could happen, but not likely. Lowenberg’s chances of missing the playoffs are unlikely win or lose. A win for lowenberg would increase his chances of a first round bye.
Chad's Prediction: Team Lowenberg

6.) Wizard Killer (Joe Selb0) (6-6) vs. Team Grande (Anthony Grande) (7-5)

Nick's Prediction: Team Grande

Chad's Outlook: With Grande’s win last week, he has secured a playoff spot. Wizard killer needs a win this week to have a good chance at the playoffs. A loss will come down to the points tie-breaker with Merrill or the Sad-asses.
Chad's Prediction: Wizard Killer

7.) Team Szmanda (Jason Szmanda) (8-4) vs. The Rippin and the Tearin (Rory Linton) (7-5)

Nick's Prediction: Team Szmanda

Chad's Outlook: This could be a preview of the championship game. Both teams are in the playoffs and are now fighting for that #1 seed. Rory has taken the point lead at 1118 and a win will secure the #1 spot. Szmanda’s fantasy defense won’t have it easy this week as The Rippin is the hottest team in the league. The Rippin’s top two fantasy players were both waiver wire pickups, M. Vick and P. Hillis, who have both combined for 217 points in the last 4 weeks.
Chad's Prediction: The Rippin and the Tearin

8.) Points Predictions

Nick's Prediction: Highest (Team Grande) and Lowest (Team Lee)

Chad's Prediction:
Highest (Team Klitzman) and Lowest (Team Lee)

  1. Nice predictions as always. I think that even if I win though, Matt can lock up the #1 seed by winning.
